About Dr. Emma
My mission is to help as many women as possible thrive at every stage of their lives.
I am passionate about working in a holistic manner with each persons’ unique mind and body, meeting them where they are currently on their journey.
I provide holistic tailored made programmes combing Lifestyle Medicine interventions, coaching techniques alongside conventional medical treatment options to empower clients to make the changes needed to achieve a healthier, happier more fulfilled lives.
I have worked as an NHS General Practitioner for over 20 years. I am a Lifestyle Medicine Specialist with expertise in Menopause and Neurodivergence. I also am a transformation coach and Yoga teacher.
My own late diagnosis of ADHD during perimenopause has driven my interest in the impact of how important and often misunderstood the impact of hormones are in women’s health and what strategies and treatments are most beneficial to each individual woman. For years women’s health has been under funded and under researched.
Having worked as an NHS Doctor for 26 years, I have felt frustrated by limitations in time and resources that have restricted me to help improve patients’ health as much as I know is potentially possible.
Making the necessary behaviour choices and changes to be at one’s best health is not easy, especially in the current environment and climate we are living in. It is never as simple as eat less and move more and everyone’s individual circumstances, body and mind our unique to them.
Personally, I try my best to practice the advice I give my patients. As a working mother of two children and one with complex needs and a carer for my elderly mother, I appreciate how difficult it can be to balance being a parent, working and looking after your own health and wellbeing.
In my free time I love to practice yoga, spend time in nature, especially lake swimming and paddle boarding, alongside going to music gigs and dancing.
